How safe are my credit/debit details?

Your security is ensured at all times.  Propri does not store any of your credit or debit card details, all payments and payment information is taken by our Secure Payment Server Provider, Worldpay, in partnership with The Royal Bank of Scotland; who are a respected company in the UK and Internationally. 

What secure methods do Worldpay use?
WorldPay uses a combination of established and innovative techniques, ensuring the utmost security and integrity of all sensitive data.  Their public web servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring both the client and retailer can have confidence that nobody can impersonate WorldPay to obtain confidential information. 

Details between the client and WorldPay is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the client's browser using 128 Bit SSL.

Data storage on WorldPay systems, and the communication between WorldPay and the worldwide banking networks, is regularly audited by the banking authorities to ensure a secure transaction environment.

Further protection for you
Clients are always protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuers. The card issuers provide the right for a client  to dispute a transaction if the services did not arrive, or if the card was used fraudulently.

Which cards are accepted?
Worldpay accepts: Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Purchasing, JCB, and Switch / UK Maestro.  At present we only accept UK billing addresses. 

When does Worldpay charge my credit/debit card?
Worldpay will charge your card as soon as you give them your details and authorise a payment. You may have to wait a few moments for your payment confirmation, sent directly to your email address.  After you receive the Worldpay Payment Confirmation, Propri will send you a further confirmation via e-mail.

Your advert will go online with Propri in minutes, however, please allow at least 48 hours for your property to be listed on our partner networks, if you choose this package option. 

When will you need payments?
If you wish to place a property advert on Propri and our partner networks; we will take payment for this.
If you wish to buy a ‘For Sale’ or ‘For Let’ Advertising Board, we will need payment for this.
